原始语种摘要: The objective of the present is study is to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and adjustment on behavioural problems among students of higher secondary schools. Emotional intelligence is the capacity of an individual to be aware, control and express emotions effectively. As a child makes a transition from elementary school to a high school, it forms a crucial point in determining his level of academic adjustment. Therefore, emotional intelligence is a key element for facing such adjustments with success and a failure to adjust may exhibit problems causing harm to the well-being.
