The objective was to investigate the risk of mortality after CABG considering socioeconomic position, sex and country of birth. MATERIAL AND METHODS: We included all 72 333 patients undergoing a first isolated CABG in Sweden, during 1995 - 2007 of whom 12.7% were foreign-born.
