原始语种摘要: The active lung-targeting drugs have long been thought to be a potential therapy of lung diseases, which can increase drug concentrations in the lung while reducing systemic side-effects. However, a major limitation in developing active lung-targeting drugs is the obtainment of specific lung-targeting molecules and ideal lung-targeting ligands. Pulmonary surfactant protein A (SPA) is predominantly synthesized by type II alveolar epithelial cells and therefore may serve as a specific target for the lung.
