英文摘要: Abstract(#br)Sonochemistry is a very broad subject and nowadays it involves a wide range of disciplines and provides a forum for the cross-fertilization of ideas. In the early days this was not quite the situation and so a number of ideas that came forward were outside of main-line classical thinking in science. These concepts were often rejected out of hand and sometimes even ridiculed. This paper revisits some of these ideas for those of you who might be interested in the more unusual effects in sonochemistry.
