英文摘要: Abstract(#br)Metal binding properties of histaminol (4(5)-(2-hydroxyethyl)imidazole)-natural imidazole derivative – towards several metal ions were investigated in aqueous solution and solid state. Potentiometric titrations returned stability constants for the title histaminol complexes. The stability of the investigated complexes was compared to analogous complexes with 1 H -imidazole and histamine ligands. The ability of histaminol to form chelate complexes and a high tendency to occur in this role in complex compounds has been confirmed by the isolation of some of the complex species in the monocrystalline form and X-ray diffraction measurements.
