原始语种摘要: Abstract(#br)A highly-sensitive magneto-optical Faraday sensor was miniaturized, including Bi-substituted yttrium iron garnet (Bi: YIG) thin films. The magnetic field over the surface of the cracked steel was measured by using this sensor. The results demonstrated that this sensor could illustrate the micro-cracks on the surface and subsurface of the sample and was a proper candidate for Magnetic Flux Leakage method. In addition, the possibility of the crack and micro-crack detection was evaluated by utilizing a magneto-optical miniaturized sensor. The experimental setup encompassed miniaturized optical setup, Bi: YIG thin films, and some samples with different cracks and micro-cracks.
