No head-to-head trial has been conducted to determine the priority of ACEI/ARB use for major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) in diabetes mellitus.(#br)Methods(#br)Data on patients with newly diagnosed diabetes treated with ACEIs or ARBs were collected from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database for the period 2000–2010.
