英文摘要: Abstract(#br)Background(#br)The benefit of perioperative radiotherapy in elderly patients with soft tissue sarcoma (STS) is unclear due to their underrepresentation in clinical trials. We assessed patterns-of-care and overall survival (OS) associated with perioperative radiotherapy use in this population.(#br)Patients and Methods(#br)Elderly (≥ 70 years) patients with high grade STS who underwent surgery with or without perioperative radiotherapy from 2004–2013 were identified from the National Cancer Database. A non-elderly cohort (< 70 years) was also identified for secondary comparative analyses.
