Methods: 24 children with specific learning difficulty in reading of age between 7 -11 years were recruited through convenient sampling and assigned to experimental and control group The children in the experimental group underwent working memory trainingalong with regular classroom reading and reading comprehension and the control group underwent regular classroom reading and reading comprehension sessions.Pre and post testmeasurements were done using Schonell’s reading test and reading comprehension and working memory components of NIMHANS SLD INDEX.
