原始语种摘要: Aims and objectives: The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of cardiac endurance training on metabolic and functional responses in persons with thoracic (T1 – T6) level Spinal Cord Injury. Methods: A convenient sample of 22 adult thoracic (T1 –T6) level Spinal Cord Injury subjects ASIA classified B through D were selected. Subjects were randomly divided into a control group (N = 9) and experimental group (N = 13). Experimental group received an additional Endurance training in Arm Ergometer for consecutive 30 sittings. Subjects were encouraged to perform the activity in optimum speed so, heart rate can maintain at target heart rate range.
