原始语种摘要: Aim of the study: The FES–I is a scale developed to measure fear off alling by assessing an individual’s confidence in performing daily activities. The aim was to determine the reliability and validity of the FES–I (Hindi) among older adults residing in Alberta, Canada. Methods: The FES-I (Hindi) was administered to 23 Hindi speaking older adults, aged 60 years and older. It was correlated with Berg Balance Scale and Timed Up and Go Test, to examine construct validity. Cronbach’s alpha provided internal consistency of the scale.Test-retest reliability was determined using Intra-Class Correlation Coefficient (ICC) by asking participants to complete the scale twice with a two-week interval.
