原始语种摘要: This research explores the similarities and differences between three specific traits of educators from a secondary school in a southern state of the United States of America, and educators from a secondary school in Belgrade, Serbia. Intrapersonal skills, adaptability, and flexibility are examined as elements of emotional intelligence. The three traits are studied as subscales of the Bar-On construct of emotional intelligence, and are assessed through the administration of the Bar-On EQi emotional intelligence assessment for the teachers from the United States (Bar-On, 2003). Similar constructs derived from a researcher developed assessment are studied from the Serbian teachers.
