With the increase of China's population and economicdevelopment, diabetes (DM) has become a serious publichealth problem, the complications of DM are also serious.Among them, patients with DM complicated with hypertensionhave to face the double risk of infection and cardiovasculardisease. Not only the cost of medical care has increased, but also the quality of life has declined. The purpose ofthis study was to compare the differences in lifestyle andbody characteristics between patients with DM complicatedwith hypertension, DM with normal-high blood pressure andpatients with DM without normal-high blood pressure, and toprovide clues for the inference of risk factors related toDM complicated with hypertension. A cross-sectional studywas conducted T2DM patients hospitalized in a hospital... fromJanuary 2017 to December 2017. One-way ANOVA and chi-squaretest were used to judge the difference between the twogroups. A total of 79 patients with simple DM, 92 patientswith normal-high blood pressure and 138 patients with DMcomplicated with hypertension were enrolled in our study. Wefound differences in age, neutrophil count, lymphocyteratio, uric acid (UA), creatinine (CRE), total protein (TP),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), body mass index (BMI),course of disease and self-control between the two groups. We found that the age, body mass index (BMI) andinflammatory response in diabetic patients with hypertensionwere significantly higher than those in patients with simpleDM and DM with normal-high blood pressure. However, theself-control of patients with hypertension is better thanthat other groups. Therefore, with the prolongation ofillness time, patients need to control the occurrence ofcomplications through self-control and weight loss.
