Relativistic extension of the Schrödinger equation no longer requiring the “Dirac sea”

原始语种摘要: A new, relativistic quantum wave equation is obtained by applying the quantum prescriptions to the kinetic energy and momentum instead of the total energy and momentum. This provides the Schrödinger equation with a relativistic extension that modifies the Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations. The wave functions for the modified Klein-Gordon equation are shown to allow the probabilistic interpretation. For a resting particle, the modified Dirac equation gives a true vacuum state in addition to the wave solutions, no longer requiring the “Dirac Sea.”
