原始语种摘要: The general Galilean transformation (GGT) has been found, and from this derives what is known today as the Galilean transformation (GT) and all other equations that deal with relative motion, including the general Doppler Effect at an arbitrary angle. The GGT incorporates the Lorentz factor. The GGT offers solutions which the GT, being only a special case of the GGT, cannot provide. The solutions provided by the GGT indicate to us that, in late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, there was no need for a new paradigm (special relativity), but all what was needed was the extension of the existing paradigm.
