We report the de Haas–van Alphen (dHvA) effect for noncentrosymmetric Yb4Sb3. The theoretically expected electronic structure consists of pairs of split Fermi surfaces due to the antisymmetric spin–orbit interaction (ASOI). We found multiple (more than two) dHvA signals from some of the pairs. We attribute them to the result of orbital crossing at degenerate points of the split Fermi surfaces. There are two carrier paths: one intersects and the other passes through the crossing (degenerate) point. Strikingly, the probability of intersection is different in each Fermi surface pair and field direction. By considering the spin texture characterized by the ASOI, we demonstrate that we can judge whether a spin flip occurs at the crossing point during cyclotron motion.
