原始语种摘要: Abstract The brazilian Ministry of Health declared, in November 2015, national healthemergency due to an outbreak in Pernambuco of microcephaly in neoantes, with 268cases registration. This number is considerably higher than the average for theperiod 2010-2014, that was nine cases by year. Since then, it has increased thenumber of diagnoses of cases of microcephaly throughout the national territory,drawing the attention of experts and general population.
