Given its several unique properties as detector, such as: (1 superb sensitivity, (2 high elemental selectivity, (3 multi-elemental and multi-isotopic capabilities, (4 high sample throughput, (5 wide linear dynamic range, (6 fast data acquisition, (7 excellent robustness, and (8 minimal matrix effects, ICP-MS has been utilized in numerous advanced applications in diverse fields.
