原始语种摘要: Water requirement for reclamation of salt affected soils was determined under field conditions. It was found that a 20 to 30 cm depth of water is required to reclaim the surface 0 to 30 cm depth of soil, a 60 to 90 cm depth of water is required to reclaim the subsurface 30 to 60 cm depth of soil, and a 50 to 60 cm depth of water is required to reclaim the whole profile 0 to 60 cm depth of soil for a given salt affected soil and method of water application. This study also provided a useful tool in the form of a leaching curve to calculate water requirement for the reclamation of some salt affected soils in Al-Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
